The Sela Melody Tongue Drum 14" D Kurd Black is a medium-sized steel tongue drum with nine tonal fields and a diameter of nearly 36 centimeters. Its warm, long-lasting, and soothing sound makes it perfect for relaxation in everyday life, as well as for serious music-making or early musical education for children.
Not only does it sound fantastic, but its matte black finish also makes it an elegant visual centerpiece, whether at home, in the office, or at a yoga studio. The Melody Tongue Drum 14" D Kurd is tuned in the D minor scale, which is one of the most popular and accessible tunings in the world of handpans and tongue drums. All the notes harmoniously fit together, ensuring that there are always melodic sounds while playing.
This instrument is highly recommended not only for experienced music lovers and professional sound therapists but also for beginners without prior musical knowledge. The nine tonal fields offer a wealth of options for creating colorful and exciting melodies without overwhelming the player.
