The EVH® Striped Series Frankie is inspired by the most recognizable electric guitar of all time, Eddie Van Halen's iconic Frankenstein™. Now available at an affordable price for everyday musicians, this guitar features a striking red with white-and-black striped finish and a worn-in relic appearance which makes it truly special.
With a basswood body and a graphite-reinforced quartersawn maple neck, the new Frankie offers incredible comfort for hours of play thanks to the oiled finish on the back of the neck. The 12”-16” compound radius maple fingerboard with 22 jumbo frets is designed for fast and furious playing styles.
Equipped with an HSS pickup configuration just like Eddie's original, Frankie features an EVH Wolfgang® humbucking bridge pickup and a dummy Strat® neck pickup. The EVH D-Tuna® allows for drop-D tuning at the flick of a finger.
