The Charvel Pro-Mod San Dimas Bass PJ IV MAH is an elegant 4-string bass guitar that carries the traits of original Charvel San Dimas basses from the late '70s. The deeper cutaway allows adventurous bassists easy access to the upper registers.
The ultra-thin bolt-on caramelized maple neck, with graphite reinforcement and easy-access truss rod wheel, is designed for comfort. The 12”-16” compound radius gradually flattens from nut to heel, providing fast and smooth playability, and features 20 jumbo frets with Luminlay® side dots.
The powerhouse voice of DiMarzio® pickups drives the Pro-Mod San Dimas® Bass PJ IV MAH's sound, featuring a Model J™ at the bridge for a well-rounded tone and a Model P® in the middle for warmth and fatness. Versatile electronics with three-band active EQ, pickup blend control, and a push/pull master volume offer important functionality, including preserving sound when batteries run low.
The Charvel HiMass™ bridge, Graph Tech® TUSQ® XL nut, and open-gear tuners provide stellar tuning stability and improved note punch. Available in two stunning finishes: Natural Mahogany and Satin Ferrari Red.
